These Terms of Use govern your use of Money But Softer (the "app"), operated by Linnie Mae's Vintage Creations, LLC. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information you enter or import into the app, including amounts, dates, categories, and notes.

2. Purpose of the App

The app is provided for personal informational and organizational purposes. It is a budgeting and financial organization tool and is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse, abuse, or attempt to disrupt the app or its services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except as permitted by law.
• Interfere with the app's security, servers, or infrastructure.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the app, other accounts, or data.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

4. Changes to Features

Features may be updated, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. We may add or remove functionality as the app evolves.

5. No Guarantee of Financial Outcomes

The app is provided without guarantees that budgeting calculations, projections, or recommendations will meet your individual financial needs or reflect actual results. Budget projections are based on information you enter and may not match real-world outcomes.

6. Your Financial Decisions

You remain responsible for your own financial decisions. You should independently evaluate any information provided by the app and consult a qualified professional when needed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linnie Mae's Vintage Creations, LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including any financial decisions made based on information from the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Age Requirement

You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the app. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We may close any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at contact@linniemae.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

11. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation

Money But Softer is offered under a paid subscription with monthly and yearly billing options. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee through our payment processor (Stripe) until you cancel.

• Monthly plan: you are billed for the current month at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made.
• Yearly plan: you are billed for the full year at the start of each yearly billing period. You may cancel at any time; if you cancel, you will not be charged for the next year and your subscription remains active until the end of the current yearly period.
• Applicable sales tax is calculated by Stripe at checkout based on your billing address and may be added to your subscription fee.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription management screen in the app.
• Fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy or as required by applicable law.
• We may change subscription fees with reasonable advance notice; any change applies only to future billing periods.

12. Artificial Intelligence Features

The Budget Coach is an AI-powered assistant, not a human, and its suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review any suggestion before acting on it. See our AI Disclosure.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The Effective Date and Last Updated above reflect the current version.
