Current Use of AI

Money But Softer includes an AI-powered assistant called the "Budget Coach." The Budget Coach is an automated assistant, not a human. It can read the transactions, categories, and budget settings you have entered into the app, and uses that information to analyze your spending and suggest daily budgeting habits.

The Budget Coach's responses are generated by an AI model and may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suited to your individual circumstances. You should independently review any suggestions before acting on them.

Interacting With an AI Assistant

The Budget Coach is clearly identified as an AI-powered assistant and is not presented as a human. Example interface label:

AI Data Use Disclosure

To power the Budget Coach, the app sends the financial information you have entered (such as your transactions, categories, and budget settings) to an AI model provider that processes it to generate responses. This information is sent when you use the Budget Coach and when your weekly coach recap is generated, and it is used only to produce your personalized suggestions. The AI model is accessed through our platform provider, Base44. The Privacy Policy discloses:

• What categories of information may be sent
• Why the information is sent
• The type of third-party service receiving it
• Whether the information is retained by that service
• Whether the information may be used for model training, if known
• Any controls available to the user

The app is not designed to send highly sensitive information (such as passwords, Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or login credentials) to any AI service.

AI-Generated Media

If a future version of the app generates realistic images, audio, video, avatars, voices, or other synthetic media, such content will be appropriately labeled when required and will not be presented in a manner that could reasonably mislead users into believing it is authentic human-created or recorded content.
